What if I've never done improv before?

Congratulations! You will have no bad habits to break! The Improv for Overachiever Workouts are designed for people who have never done improv - as well as those with some experience. It is fun for everyone!

Can I watch the recording?

Your brain and mental health need a break. The temptation is to push harder. Work longer.

Improv workouts are a hack to make things easier for you.

The first 8-10 workouts, you are going to be very aware of what you are doing. You'll be thinking too much. Gradually, you'll get the feel for improv; however, will be aware that it's impossible to always be right.

The second 8-10 workouts, you start to feel different about improv. You enjoy the unpredictability of it. You laugh when you blooper. You laugh when you don't.

You notice there is carryover to your world of work. It feels easier somehow. You don't get as stressed out as you used - especially since you know there's always another improv workout around the corner to help you release that stress.

The third 8-10 workouts, other people start noticing a change in you. You may appear more comfortable. More relaxed. You laugh more easily. You seem less rigid. They enjoy working with you more.
